Progress Lifeline is proud to reveal that it has been announced as a finalist at the 2022 LaingBuisson Awards.

The LaingBuisson Awards celebrate businesses that set new standards of excellence within their industries. Now in their 17th year of recognising excellence, they are judged independently and objectively and focus on the people providing the care as well as their advisors.

Progress Lifeline has been shortlisted in the ‘Public Private Partnership’ category. This category recognises excellence in a strategic partnership between the public and independent sectors with a focus on outcomes, value for money and innovation.

Progress Lifeline has a strategic partnership to work collaboratively with the North West Ambulance Service, Lancashire County Council Health and Social and the NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups, to create an improved service for patients who fall but are uninjured.

This innovative partnership is this first of its kind, in which patients to the 999 service who have fallen at home and are unable to get back up, (but are triaged as uninjured or have minor injuries) are transferred directly to us. Our Emergency Home Responders will then attend with specialist lifting equipment, avoiding the need for an ambulance. Our responders are able to attend in an average time of just 22 minutes, significantly decreasing the pressure on ambulance services.

The 2022 LaingBuisson Awards winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on Thursday 17th November at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London.

Good luck to all the finalists!
