Progress Lifeline doesn’t have to be a permanent installation; it can be a temporary solution that helps you to overcome a short-term situation such as recovering at home following hospital discharge.

Our range of automated sensors can make your life more comfortable and safer as well as providing reassurance to your family that you have the support that you need until you are better.

We can put together a number of different packages to suit your requirements and support you in your own home until you are fully recovered. A potential package for helping you to cope after hospital discharge would depend on the assistance that you required but could include:

Bed and chair occupancy sensors

If you have been out of your bed or chair for a long time then the occupancy sensor will let us know. They are useful for people who are at risk of falls or easily get disorientated. The sensor can also be connected to a light so that it is switched on and off as you get in and out of bed.

Falls detectors

Elderly people are more likely to fall and to sustain injuries from a fall but these sensors are just as useful for people with mobility problems. The fall detector tells us when you have fallen and connects you to the control centre automatically even if you are unable to press the button on your pendant or base unit.

Medication reminder prompts

The medication unit only dispenses medication at set times and lets us know if you have forgotten to take it. They are really helpful for people who have to take medication at different times during the day or if you often forget to take it.

Emergency home response service

Available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, the service provides an emergency home responder to attend your home to assist you and if an ambulance is required and they will stay with you until it arrives.

Control Centre

The sensors can be linked to our 24 hour control centre and a nominated person. If a problem occurs, this triggers the alarm to our control centre, a relative or key holder.

We can provide the service in any home regardless of the size, layout or location of the property and we can remove it once you are fully recovered and no longer require the Progress Lifeline service.

The cost for our starter package is £3.60 per week. This includes:

  • The Progress Lifeline unit
  • Personal alarm pendant or wristband
  • Complete maintenance and servicing of the equipment
  • 24 hour monitoring and regular assessments.

More enhanced packages are available from £5.00 per week and include the starter package plus a choice of sensors from our range.

There is a one-off installation charge of £20 for the service and up to £40 depending on the package you choose.

The service may be available for free or at a reduced cost for those people in receipt of certain benefits.
