Industry regulatory body for technology enabled care, the Telecare Services Association (TSA) and their associated independent quality organisation, TEC Quality, awarded Progress Lifeline the Quality Standards Framework (QSF) - its most recognised quality standard in the TEC industry - at a prestigious awards ceremony in Birmingham. Providers who achieve the QSF are recognised for their industry-wide compliance and demonstrate the highest standards of quality and safety for TEC services.
The QSF is the successor to the previous accredited programme by the TSA, of which Progress Lifeline had also achieved the highest accreditation as a platinum member, making this the 12th year in a row that Progress Lifeline has achieved the highest industry standard
“The high regard for Progress Lifeline expressed by its service-users, reflects the value placed on the service by Progress Housing Group’s Executive Team and the investment that is ongoing into development of its IT systems, moving and handling equipment and staff training, to support delivery of excellent quality, innovative and safely delivered services.” TSA Auditor, March 2018
Loraine Simpson, Head of Technology Enabled Care Support Services for Progress Lifeline, said: “We’re extremely proud to have achieved the QSF certification, which demonstrated our high standards of service delivery and our commitment to safety and quality for our customers and commissioners.
“The Progress Lifeline Team work hard to provide a high quality service and the auditor’s report recognises this. The new QSF puts more focus on the user experience and their safety and this correlates with our own aim of putting customers at the heart.”
The QSF is fresh and thought-provoking - supporting the development and continuous improvement of TEC organisations. TEC Quality’s aim is to ensure that ‘quality and safety’ is at the heart and centre of everything within the TEC sector.”
