Progress Lifeline had a fantastic time at the Progress Housing Group 2018 annual conference last week, becoming staff award winners for the second year running!

Organised internally by the Digital Marketing Team at Progress Housing, and held at Runshaw College in Leyland, the highly anticipated annual event was a huge success with attendees enjoying workshops and team-building activities such as escape room challenges, singing and yoga.

A number of teams within Progress Housing Group, including finance, Progress Futures, Progress Opportunities and Key gave creative overviews of their workstreams and achievements, and staff got chance to find out how they can support each and every team through Progress Housing Group's #OneTeam approach, and the new #More #Better #Together initiative.

Best of all, our wonderful Progress Lifeline Control Centre team, who answer emergency calls 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, from Lifeline customers' red button personal pendant alarms and telecare sensor alarms across Lancashire, won the team award in the 'Stronger Organisation' category.

Jacqui De Rose, Chief Executive of Progress Housing Group, presented the award to Karen Simpson - Progress Lifeline Department Manager, the Control Centre Team Leaders and the Progress Lifeline Operators - who all work incredibly hard to ensure that people can live safely and independently in their own homes for longer with the Progress Lifeline remote home monitoring system.

An example of the type of feedback that the team receive from personal pendant alarm customers in Lancashire was received recently by Mr H from Chorley, who called us to say:

The Progress Lifeline Control Centre operators answer red button personal pendant alarm calls, alerts from telecare alarm sensors connected to the Control Centre (such as smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, property exit sensors and falls detectors), arrange emergency home response and assisted lifting support in customers' homes, and liaise with GPs, carers, and the emergency services including the North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) and Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service (LFRS) numerous times a day.

Progress Lifeline's dedication and experienced responses to emergency calls, ensure that more people in Lancashire can continue to live in their own homes for longer with peace of mind for them, and their families, that help is close at hand.
