Progress Lifeline joins leading health and technology representatives at major industry convention
On Wednesday 27th June, Progress Lifeline’s Head of Technology Enabled Care Support Services, Loraine Simpson, will be providing a key presentation at the annual Digital HealthCare Show.
On the 27th and 28th June 2018, the Digital HealthCare Show and the Health Plus Care conference, from the ExCel convention centre in London, will provide Europe’s largest integrated health and social care event, bringing together professionals and leading figures in health, care, digital healthcare and technology.
Loraine will be speaking at this major industry event as part of the digital healthcare programme in association with the Technology Enabled Care Services (TECS) industry body, the Telecare Services Association (TSA). Key presentations in this area will showcase service transformation, raising the bar with health apps and positioning technology at the heart of the care and support offer.
Loraine will be focussing on how the partnership between Lancashire County Council (LCC), Tunstall Healthcare and Progress Housing Group makes greater use of telecare services in Lancashire, as part of its commitment to preventing, reducing or delaying the need for health and care services; improving people's outcomes; and giving carers peace of mind.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to speak at this event which is attended by so many across the digital healthcare sector. I’m looking forward to leading the discussion and providing examples of how Progress Lifeline, Lancashire County Council and Tunstall have used Technology Enabled Care as a preventative approach across Lancashire, plus sharing the benefits and outcomes of the Lancashire Telecare programme. Loraine Simpson, Head of Technology Enabled Care Support Services - Progress Lifeline
The Digital Healthcare Show says “There is simply no other event in Europe like Digital Healthcare. Digital Healthcare joins the dots between innovation and practicality, presenting the latest healthcare technologies and showcasing their practical application and integration into existing healthcare infrastructure.
The digital transformation of healthcare is viewed by many as the single most critical factor in addressing the funding, staffing and capacity challenges facing the NHS at almost every level, and in almost every department.”
