Our emergency home responder teams provide a physical response direct to the customer's home

The responders are trained to deal with a range of events and provide helpful solutions such as:

  • Calling the emergency services
  • Providing reassurance
  • Dealing with any health and safety risks which may occur
  • Assistive lifting to customer who has had a fall, is uninjured and just needs help getting up.

Available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, the service provides an emergency home responder to attend your home to assist you. If an ambulance is required, they will stay with you until it arrives.

The emergency home response service costs just £1.50 extra per week. There is no minimum contract and no additional charges for callouts.

Keysafe service

KeySafe provides a quick and easy way for family members, care workers, emergency services and other authorised people to gain access to your home without delay.

A small wall-mounted metal box with a secure combination lock, KeySafe enables your keys to be stored securely outside your home. Only people you trust can gain access to your key.

Installation of a KeySafe will eliminate the need for forced entry in an emergency and the subsequent cost of repairing any damage caused.

We can supply and fit a KeySafe for a one-off installation charge of £55 (this is reduced to £45 if installed at the same time as the Progress Lifeline unit).

Lifting service

Our team of emergency home responders offer a free lifting service to help customers who have suffered a fall in their home or garden.

They are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and are fully trained in moving and handling techniques, using specialist portable equipment to help customers back to their feet.

Statistics from the North West Ambulance Service suggest that 24% of all of their activity is attributed to people who fall. The majority of these people don’t have an injury and just need help getting back to their feet and reassurance.

This means that the ambulance can get to the people who need help the most.

Please note that we can only lift people who are uninjured. If a customer is injured then we will do what we can to make them comfortable and wait with them until emergency help arrives.
