Whether you need technological assistance to give you the peace of mind that the person you are looking after is safe in their own home or the practical support and knowledge that someone will be there to assist them if you are unable to; there are a number of ways we can make your life easier.
Progress Lifeline pendant
The Progress Lifeline unit is simple to install and use. By pressing the red button on the pendant, the user will automatically be connected to one of our experienced control centre operators, who will contact the emergency services, a family member or friend.
Range of Telecare sensors
Our range of Telecare sensors detects situations that may be dangerous or uncomfortable, alerting our response centre so they can trigger an appropriate response. There are a range of different sensors available from automatic falls detectors to medication prompts and smoke alarms.
Emergency response and lifting service
Our team of emergency mobile responders offer a free lifting service to help customers who have suffered a fall in their home or garden. They are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and are fully trained in moving and handling techniques and use specialist portable equipment to help customers back to their feet.
Emergency key access
A KeySafe provides a quick and easy way for family, care workers, emergency services and other authorised people to gain access to your home without delay.
Peace of Mind for carers
We work with Lancashire County Council to provide a free service for carers who may be concerned about who will look after the people they care for if something unexpected happens to them. This worry can cause stress and prevent carers from having a life of their own alongside their caring role. The Peace of Mind for Carers service provides cover for your caring responsibilities in the event of an emergency.
At Progress Lifeline we are committed to providing tailored packages that will give you peace of mind that round-the-clock help is available should you ever need it.
We can provide the service in any home regardless of the size, layout or location of the property – all that is needed is a connected landline telephone.
The cost for our starter package is £3.60 per week. This includes:
- The Progress Lifeline unit
- Personal alarm pendant or wristband
- Complete maintenance and servicing of the equipment
- 24 hour monitoring and regular assessments.
More enhanced packages are available from £5.00 per week and include the starter package plus a choice of sensors from our range.
There is a one-off installation charge of £20 for the service and up to £40 depending on the package you choose.
The service may be available for free or at a reduced cost for those people in receipt of certain benefits.
